1. What is a certified true copy?
A certified copy of an original document is one that has been certified as a true copy by an authorized person.

2. What types of documents can be certified?
Kindly be informed that, we can only certify documents that have been issued by UTP, such as:
• Examination Results
• Academic Transcript
• Degree Certificate
• Completion Letter 
• Medium of Teaching Letter
• Research Methodology Result

Certified true copy for any co-curriculum activities documents (which are not related to academic/examination) e.g.  sport, club, event, or competition, can only be done by the club’s advisor/organizer or Student Affairs (SA).

3. Who can certify my documents?
A certified copy can be verified (along with the original) by any of the following officers;
• Senior Manager, REX

• Assistant Manager, REX

• Senior Executive, REX

• Executive, REX

4. How is my copy certified?
The authorised person certifying your photocopy must sight the original document and include the following details on all pages of the photocopy:

• Stamp "Certified True Copy"
• Signature
• Add the official stamp of the certifier's position and organization 

Photocopies of previously certified documents will not be accepted.

Note: All of your documents must be true and you should be prepared to provide original documents upon request at any time.
