Overstay

          1. What is overstay?

Overstay is when your student pass had expired while you are in Malaysia.

2. Is it good? What are consequences?

Being overstay and substantially being illegal is a severe offense in Malaysia. You may be fine by the Malaysia Immigration Department not more than RM10, 000.00 or jailed or blacklisted for not less than five (5) years or all the above.

3. I had overstayed. What should I do?

Please come to the ISVO’s office as soon as possible with your passport. The longer time that you take to surrender yourself, the more severe punishment that you will be received from the Immigration Department.
