Yes.
International students may apply for a Dependant Pass for the following family members:
Spouse (Husband/Wife)
Children
Parents
Parents-in-Law

2. What is the application procedure?
UTP does not process Dependant Pass applications on behalf of students.
Students are required to apply directly through the Ipoh Immigration Department and manage the application independently.
3. Is there an Immigration form for the Dependant Pass application?
Yes. Please refer to the Dependant Pass Immigration Form.
As immigration requirements may change from time to time, students are advised to contact the Ipoh Immigration Department directly to obtain the latest version of the form and the most current application requirements.
4. What are the estimated costs for a Dependant Pass application?

5. Is there a financial requirement to bring my dependants?
Yes. Students who intend to bring their dependants to Malaysia must maintain a minimum balance of RM10,000.00 in a Malaysian bank account for three (3) consecutive months.
Students may be required to provide supporting financial documents during the application process.
